Osaka, Japan - Kubota Corporation., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, introduces the new MX4900, a powerful cabbed tractor expanding the MX series. Delivering over 50 horsepower, it offers the most affordable cabbed option in the lineup. Set to arrive at authorized Kubota dealers this spring, it also features a turf tire option for municipal fleets.

Mr. Tyler Weyenberg, Product Manager of Utility Tractors at Kubota, said, “We’re hitting a lot of ‘wish list’ items with the introduction of the MX4900: not only is it the largest chassis with an HST (hydrostatic transmission) that Kubota offers, but this model now includes a lower horsepower offering in both a ROPS and cab machine, placing it at a more competitive price point for the customer seeking the capabilities of a machine this size.”

The Kubota MX4900 offers two transmission options to suit different needs. The gear-drive transmission is paired with a 50.3-horsepower turbocharged engine, providing eight forward and eight reverse speeds for precise control. Alternatively, the HST model features a 51.8-horsepower turbocharged engine with a three-range speed system for smoother operation. Both models are powered by Kubota diesel engines equipped with a common rail system and electronically controlled direct fuel injection, ensuring optimal performance while meeting emissions standards.

The MX4900, available in ROPS and cab models, features ergonomic controls, a spacious operator station, and an optional air-ride seat. The cab model includes heat, A/C, rubber floor mats, optional armrests, a rear defogger, a rear wiper, and dealer-installed LED lighting kits. It offers a spacious cab with ergonomic controls, hydrostatic power steering, and a 2310 lb lift capacity. With a 4268 lb weight, 69.7 in width, and 92.7 in height, it ensures durability and efficiency for various applications.
