Kubota celebrates 10 years of the M7 series by launching the new M7004 tractor, continuing its legacy of innovation in the agricultural sector since the first M7 debuted in 2014.
Date: November 4, 2024London, UK - Kubota Corporation., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, launches the M7004 tractor series, celebrating ten years of innovation in the flagship M7 lineup. The debut of the first M7 series tractor in 2014 marked a significant leap for Kubota into a new market segment, quickly establishing it as a key player in the agricultural industry.
The M7004 represents the latest evolution in the series, incorporating key updates aimed at improving operator experience, functionality, and performance. Equipped with a reliable 6.1-litre, four-cylinder Kubota engine that delivers 130-175hp, the three-model M7004 series continues to uphold its reputation for class-leading performance.
Like its predecessors, the M7004 offers a choice between two transmissions: powershift or KVT (Kubota Variable Transmission). The KVT has been enhanced with updated pre-set droop settings for customizable transmission sensitivity and optimal fuel efficiency.
Key updates focus on operator convenience, featuring a newly repositioned cooling pack at the front of the engine, which significantly improves access to essential components and simplifies maintenance.
Operator convenience is further enhanced with the repositioning of the fuel and DEF tanks, as well as redesigned cab steps that facilitate easier access to and from the tractor. An automatic assisted parking brake has been integrated into the tractor shuttle for safe stopping and parking. Additionally, the K-Monitor now features a new quad-core processor, providing expanded functionality and improved processing speeds.
The launch of the new M7004 series coincides with Kubota's 50th anniversary in Europe. To commemorate this milestone, 50 anniversary edition M7004 tractors will be produced, each showcasing a distinctive orange and black wrap.
The M7004 series is fully compatible with Kubota’s existing offerings, including an extended warranty of up to 5 years or 5,000 hours. It also features Kubota Connect, the latest in tractor telematics, allowing users to remotely monitor tractor location and key operating functions for enhanced asset management.
