Kubota adds a 54-inch rear-discharge deck to the Z4-541 model, enhancing its zero-turn mower lineup to meet industry demands.
Date: November 5, 2024London, UK - Kubota Corporation., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, expanding its zero-turn lineup with the introduction of a 54-inch rear-discharge deck for the Z4-541 model, addressing the growing demand for rear-discharge mowers. This new design eliminates the bulky side chute typical of traditional models, making it perfect for navigating around obstacles and maintaining a clear line of sight for precise mowing.
The 360-degree turning capability allows for easy maneuvering in tight spaces, while the machine's low center of gravity and wide-profile drive wheels provide outstanding stability and balance, even on uneven terrain.
To meet European standards, the Z4-541 is equipped with a robust 54-inch steel-fabricated deck featuring a 3-blade rear discharge system for improved performance and cutting quality. It also offers quick-dial height adjustment and K-lift deck operation for convenient raising and lowering of the deck. Kubota has filed three patents for innovative features in this deck, including a new single-bolt locking mechanism for the belt and pulley cover to streamline maintenance.
The Z4-541 RD is an outstanding option for professional users and discerning residential customers alike, thanks to its high-quality finish and ease of transport between job sites.
The Z4-541 is equipped with a Kawasaki V FS730-V petrol engine, delivering 24hp (17.9 kW). Its V-twin engine design ensures quieter and smoother operation with reduced vibrations compared to conventional single-cylinder engines. A rear “wrap-around” bumper enhances protection, while the standard rear towing hitch is perfect for light trailers. Designed for large areas, this machine maximizes efficiency, making it ideal for both expansive residential gardens and challenging commercial landscapes.
The Z4-541 reflects Kubota's dedication to ease of maintenance. A standout feature is the maintenance lift kit, which allows the front of the machine to be easily raised, providing convenient access to the mower deck for straightforward cleaning and blade replacement.
