Osaka, Japan - Kubota Corporation., a construction equipment manufacturer, unveils the next-generation SVL97-3, its largest compact track loader, enhancing the features of its best-selling CTL while introducing new improvements.

The Kubota SVL97-2 is powered by a robust 96.4-horsepower Kubota engine, equipped with a diesel particulate filter muffler to ensure compliance with Tier 4 Final emissions standards. It has an operating weight of 11,676 pounds with an open cab and 11,989 pounds with an enclosed cab. It features an auxiliary hydraulic flow rate of 40 gpm and a hydraulic pressure of 3,553 psi. The machine offers a travel speed of 8.4 mph, a ground clearance of 11 inches, and a hinge pin height of 10 feet 8.5 inches.

The next-generation SVL97-3 brings significant performance upgrades over its predecessor, the SVL97-2. The rated operating capacity has been increased by 8%, now reaching approximately 3,500 pounds, allowing for greater lifting and material handling efficiency. Additionally, travel speed has been boosted by 1.1 mph, reaching a maximum of 8.4 mph, enabling faster job site movement and improved productivity.

Further enhancing operational efficiency, the arm and bucket hydraulic speeds have been significantly optimized, resulting in a 20% reduction in cycle times. These enhancements make the SVL97-3 a more powerful and efficient solution for demanding construction and earthmoving applications.

Mr. Jerry Corder, Product manager at Kubota, said, “The new compact track loader gets the same one-piece cab as the SVL75-3 to prevent dirt, dust, water and other intrusions. It also makes for a quieter environment.”

The SVL97-3 comes standard with a passcode-enabled keyless start system, allowing for secure access and enhanced convenience. It can store up to 51 unique passcodes, enabling individual operators to have personalized entry and saved settings.
