Kuhn expands Performer Select cultivator range

KUHN Farm Machinery expands its range with the addition of 3m and 5m Performer Select cultivators, offering users more versatile and easier-to-use one-pass solutions.

France, Europe - KUHN Farm Machinery (UK) Ltd., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, expanded its range of entry-level Performer Select cultivators, providing users with more versatile and easier-to-use one-pass solutions. The new 3m 3000 and 5m 5000 models join the existing 4m Performer Select 4000. The Performer Select range offers the same high-quality construction and performance as the Performer 1000 models, but with essential features to ensure straightforward operation.

The three machines feature mechanical adjustment for levelling discs and working depth, NSM (spring) leg protection instead of the NSH (hydraulic) version, and a 600mm HD or Double U roller, replacing the 700mm roller found on the Performer 1000 range. Additionally, KUHN’s SH 600 seeding unit is available as an option for growers looking to establish cover crops in a single pass.

“Adding two models to complement the existing 4000 machine will open the range to a greater number of small and medium-sized farmers. The one-pass Performer system allows a versatile approach to cultivations, with discs, legs and a packer roller capable of operating in a wide range of conditions to leave a drill-ready finish. The additional Select models retain the same working features as the 1000 range and will appeal to users requiring manual controls and simple operation.”
