Saverne, France - Kuhn Farm Machinery., has expanded its HR 1030 power harrow series with the launch of the new HR 6030 RCS, a 6-metre folding flagship model designed for high-output drilling operations.
The new model joins the existing 4m, 4.5m and 5m versions in the HR 1030 RCS range. Built for use across different soil types and working conditions, the HR 6030 RCS can be combined with interchangeable seeding toolbars for cereals, maize and sugar beet.
The folding design keeps the machine’s centre of gravity close to the tractor, improving balance and traction while reducing rear lift demand. The unit is suitable for tractors up to 350hp and can operate either as a solo power harrow or as part of a combination drill setup.
For cereal drilling, operators can choose between the BTFR 6010 with Suffolk coulters, the BTFR 6020 with single discs, or the BTFR 6030 with Seedflex 100 cereal bar. An 8-row Kosma CSM precision unit is also available for maize and sugar beet applications. Seed bars are mounted on the roller frame, while full-width consolidation is handled by either a 590mm Megapacker or 550mm Steelliner packer.
The HR 6030 RCS features a Duplex gearbox with an oil cooler to reduce overheating risk. DuraKuhn carbide-coated Fast-Fit tines are fitted as standard, while maintenance-free gears and rotor bearings help reduce daily servicing needs.
Two front-mounted seed tank options are available: the 1,500-litre TF 1512, extendable to 2,000 litres, and the split 2,360-litre TF 2300 C for seed and fertiliser use. Working depth, levelling bar and seeding depth can be controlled from the cab through Isobus.
The HR 6030 RCS is now available to order. KuhnUK will also include the 4.5m HR 4530 RCS and 6-row Kosma precision toolbar in its spring demonstration fleet.
