The new TF 2300 C universal front hopper, when coupled with a seed drill, precision seed drill, or stubble cultivator, enables adaptation to modern agricultural practices.
Date: November 15, 2024France, Europe - KUHN Farm Machinery (UK) Ltd., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, launches TF 2300 C Front Hopper with Double Compartment, designed to adapt to evolving farming practices. When coupled with a seed drill, precision seed drill, or stubble cultivator, it supports diverse cultivation methods like crop rotation, multi-species cover crops, spot fertilization, and simultaneous stubble cultivation and seeding.
The new TF 2300 C front hopper offers a 2,360-liter capacity with a (60% / 40%) double compartment. It enables precise cover crop establishment, delivers starter fertilizers close to seeds, and protects seeds from pests. For maximum autonomy, both compartments can be filled with the same product.
The new OPTISEED metering unit with cassettes offers an application range up to 500 kg/ha at 15 kph. Each tank has two independent units for mixing or separately delivering products, with an agitator for easy flow of difficult seeds.
The new front packer features four large-diameter wheels (Ø 822 mm) for reduced rolling resistance and excellent land-crossing, a radial structure for better load-bearing and less compaction, and a built-in ballast carrier with a capacity of up to 800 kg.
