Saverne, France - KUHN GROUP., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has unveiled its VB 7100 series round balers, marking a major advancement in agricultural machinery with the world’s first AEF Certified Section Controlled (TC-SC) balers equipped with a GPS automated pick-up. These balers are also the first to feature an AEF Certified Task Controller geo-based function, setting a new standard for baling operations with enhanced automation, improved bale quality, and increased operator convenience.
The TC-SC function is a game changer, allowing the VB 7100 series balers to feature a GPS automated pick-up. This advanced system enables the baler and tractor to independently control the pick-up mechanism, reducing unnecessary wear and improving operational efficiency. The pick-up only operates when there is crop for baling, and it automatically raises when turning onto the headland or when passing over previously worked areas. This automation increases operator comfort and minimizes machine strain during long working hours.
In addition to Section Control, the VB 7100 balers come equipped with Task Controller basic (TC-BAS) and geo-based (TC-GEO) functions, enabling operators to record, document, and map all task-related information. This includes details such as the number of bales produced, customer and field information, yield, and bale weight. The result is accurate, automated reports that streamline farm management and help track performance metrics for improved operational decision-making.
The KUHN VB 7100 baler offers additional features that enhance efficiency and operator comfort. With AEF Certified Tractor Implement Management (TIM), the baler can control the tractor, automating the entire baling cycle for improved productivity. The AEF Certified Auxiliary Control (AUX-N) allows operators to control the baler via the CCI A3 joystick, providing intuitive, ergonomic control of all functions, especially during high-speed baling.
KUHN Baler Automation offers improved operator comfort, optimized tractor-baler performance, and reduced wear. It streamlines task management, enhances data transfer for better farm management, and boosts profitability by increasing productivity. Using certified ISOBUS communication, the system ensures seamless operation, and the AEF ISOBUS database helps verify tractor compatibility. The VB 7100 series balers set a new standard in automation and precision.
