Scotland, UK - KUHN Farm Machinery., an agricultural equipment manufacturer, is set to present its latest equipment innovations at Scotgrass 2026, with live demonstrations of the GMD 15030 mounted mower, the new-generation MergeMaxx 952 merger, and the updated VBP 7160 OC 14 combination round baler wrapper.
Among the headline machines will be the GMD 15030, described as the widest mounted mower currently available on the market. Designed with a 14.5m one-pass cutting width, the mower folds to under 3m for road transport and is aimed at lighter crops and multi-cut systems. It features four 3.1m seven-disc beds, while KUHN’s patented 180-degree gearbox design allows each pair of beds to fold without interrupting the driveline. When paired with KUHN’s 3.1m GMD front mower, the machine can deliver outputs of up to 20ha/hr.
KUHN will also demonstrate the new-generation MergeMaxx 952, which brings several design improvements focused on durability and performance. The updated model features strengthened pickup units and running gear for improved longevity and reliability. Changes to the conveyor belt design are also aimed at reducing impurities while maintaining consistent performance across different forage types. In addition, operators can pause the conveyors to collect forage from difficult areas and move it to a more suitable part of the field.
Another key machine on display will be the VBP 7160 OC 14, which now comes with a redesigned bale weighing system integrated into the wrapping table for greater accuracy. This allows only the bale itself to be weighed, rather than the whole machine, enabling precise measurement of bales ranging from 100kg to 1,500kg. Standard VB 7100 models now also feature a weigher integrated into the bale kicker. The system includes slope compensation for improved precision and offers Task Controller options for farm management integration, including bale location recording for more accurate yield tracking.
Visitors to Scotgrass 2026 will have the opportunity to see the machines working in practical field demonstrations, while KUHN’s UK and European technical experts will be available throughout the event to discuss machinery requirements and applications.
