Saverne, France - KUHN GROUP., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has updated its range of trailed orchard and vineyard sprayers with key updates aimed at improving usability, versatility, and performance. The revamped lineup includes a new entry-level model and updated features across existing high-spec machines.

At the base of the range is the newly introduced PDF 2, a rear suction sprayer available with either a round or V-shaped fan. Designed for ease of use and accurate application, the PDF 2 joins KUHN’s established GEO 2 rear suction and ANTIS 2 front suction models.

Mr. Edd Fanshawe, KUHN’s product specialist for orchard and vineyard sprayers, said, “The introduction of the PDF models adds an easy-to-use and uncomplicated sprayer for simple and accurate application. With more vineyards and orchards being planted in the UK, these new models are ideal for growers wanting more control over application timing.”

The PDF 2 sprayers offer manual control of each side of the boom, while the higher-spec GEO and ANTIS models provide electric regulation with two sections per side. Built with a fully galvanised frame for enhanced durability, the PDF 2 also offers a choice of three drawbars for improved manoeuvrability in tight vineyard or orchard rows.

Powering the sprayer is a high-pressure Annovi Reverberi 120l/min pump, with manual pressure adjustment as standard. All PDF 2 units feature rear suction for higher suction capacity and simpler operation.

There are multiple fan options: two round fan models (750mm and 850mm) are designed for high canopy spraying, offering up to 41,300 m³/h airflow on the 850mm version, with optional air straighteners and deflectors. The V-shaped fan variant, also 850mm, is geared for precision and comes standard with air straighteners and 16 nozzles.

Additionally, KUHN has standardised polyethylene tank sizes across its ANTIS 2, GEO 2, ANTIS M 2, and GEO M 2 lines. Farmers can now choose between 1,000, 1,500, or 2,000-litre tanks, offering greater consistency and flexibility across the product range.

The updates reinforce KUHN’s commitment to providing tailored spraying solutions for the growing orchard and vineyard sectors.
