Genusson, France - Kverneland AS., an agricultural equipment manufacturer and a part of the Kubota Group’s Les Landes-Genusson (KVG LLG) has expanding its capabilities in cultivation and mechanical weeding solutions.

To meet growing global demand, a strategic investment will double production capacity for Kubota and Kverneland implements. This expansion will also introduce larger agri machinery, including the XL compact disc harrow, while addressing the rising need for sustainable mechanical weeding solutions.

Mr. Guillaume Hulin, Managing Director of Kverneland Group Les Landes-Genusson, said, “This expansion underscores our commitment to innovation and sustainability. By increasing capacity and modernizing operations, we’re ensuring KVG LLG continues to provide efficient and environmentally responsible solutions to farmers worldwide.”

KVG LLG's expansion highlights a commitment to environmental responsibility. By integrating advanced systems, the project prioritizes sustainable practices, energy efficiency, and strict safety standards in alignment with global environmental goals.

Two solar power plants, with a combined capacity of 770 kWp, will be installed on the building roof and car park shed. The R&D prototype workshop will expand from 645 m² to 1,000 m², supported by new R&D offices to drive innovation. Modernized equipment, including welding and painting robots and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), will enhance operational efficiency.

Logistics capabilities will be strengthened with doubled shipment capacity, reorganized logistics offices, and new storage facilities. A one-way traffic system for trucks will optimize workflow by preventing truck congestion within the factory and the Les Landes-Genusson center. Employee amenities will also be upgraded with solar panel parking facilities and a state-of-the-art work environment.
