Klepp, Norway – Kverneland., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced a new 6m f-drill Plus model, expanding its power harrow drill combination portfolio with a wider hydraulic folding option for higher-output seeding operations.
The new f-drill Plus features a 6m folding coulterbar designed for use with the Rotago F power harrow and f-drill Maxi Plus front hopper. It supports the distribution of grain and fertiliser, or two different seed types, through a dual distribution head and pipework system.
Built from two 3m toolbars, the model carries 48 CX-II double-entry coulters. The dual distribution heads are positioned one behind the other, allowing the unit to fold hydraulically without interference.
Previously, Kverneland’s widest f-drill Plus grain and fertiliser toolbar was a 4m folding version with 32 CX-II coulters.
According to Kverneland product manager Simon Wills, the 6m hydraulic folding grain and fertiliser option was developed in response to customer demand for greater output and efficiency.
The launch follows several updates to the f-drill series, including the new f-drill Compact Plus hopper, a dual front camera system, hopper weighing and revised lift-out hopper sieves for easier cleaning.
The Compact Plus hopper includes a split-tank design with dual Eldos metering units, making it suitable for grain and fertiliser or two seed types. Kverneland has not yet announced when the new 6m f-drill Plus will be available to order.
