Haryana- Lectrix EV., a motor vehicle manufacturer, of the SAR Group, has unveiled its latest electric scooter, the Nduro electric scooter. Available in two variants—Nduro 2.0 and Nduro 3.0—bookings will open on December 15, 2024. The Nduro 2.0 is priced at ₹89,999 (ex-showroom), while the premium Nduro 3.0 will cost ₹99,999 (ex-showroom). Additionally, LectriX EV introduces a Battery-as-a-Subscription (BaaS) option, making the Nduro available for ₹59,999 (ex-showroom).

Equipped with advanced features, the NDuro delivers a top speed of 65 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 5.1 seconds. With a tested gradeability of 16° for single riders, it performs exceptionally well even on steep inclines. Buyers can choose between two battery options: a 2.3 kWh battery offering a range of 90 km (IDC) or a 3.0 kWh battery with a range of 117 km (IDC).

Adding to its appeal, the NDuro offers smart connectivity features such as live location tracking, emergency SOS, ride analytics, theft alerts, an Efficiency Bar, and Hill Hold. These capabilities make it a standout choice for those prioritizing performance and convenience in their daily commutes.

To enhance affordability, Lectrix has introduced a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. This option allows customers to lease batteries, reducing the scooter’s upfront cost by nearly 40%. Users can conveniently swap batteries at designated stations, ensuring minimal downtime and eliminating range anxiety

Mr. Rakesh Malhotra, founder of the SAR Group, said, "NDuro embodies our dedication to innovation and sustainability, paving the way for the future of mobility. It delivers the ideal blend of style, performance, and a superior user experience."

Mr. Kislay Pankaj, CTO of Lectrix EV, said, the company has successfully deployed 10,000 batteries under its BaaS initiative and manages a fleet of 15,000 scooters and 30,000 three-wheelers across India. "NDuro is crafted to exceed customer expectations, establishing new standards in the EV market."
