Date: November 8, 2024Germany, Europe - LEMKEN India Agro Equipment Private Limited., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, introduces the Thulit MF/1200, a first weeder harrow with a working width of over 12 meters. Building on the Thulit MF series launched last year, this model features a unique design with four bars, eight rows of harrow tines, and hydraulic tine pressure adjustment. The tine pressure is continuously adjustable from 100g to 5,000g across the full width, ensuring consistent, optimal results during operation.
The Thulit MF/1200 features five harrow sections, allowing for flexible folding options to suit various applications. For reduced working width, such as avoiding obstacles or preventing overlapping, it can be folded into four or three sections.
To achieve greater ground clearance at the headland, LEMKEN's weeder harrow can be folded into a V position by angling the outer segments slightly upwards. This prevents the tools from touching the ground. For convenient and safe road transport, it can be folded in on both sides to a height of 3.3 metres. The automatic transport locking system operates across all variants, eliminating the need for manual intervention.
LEMKEN's Thulit MF/1200 features torsion-resistant support profiles for stability and low weight. Its frame design, with six support wheels at the front, ensures smooth operation and precise guidance of the harrow tines on the soil surface. Additionally, the Thulit MF/1200 can be operated as a rigid implement or with ground contour adjustment.
For customers choosing the rigid frame, optional support wheels behind the side panels are unnecessary. To ensure the weeder harrow's individual sections follow the soil horizon continuously, additional rear support wheels are required for the Thulit. This provides maximum flexibility and optimal results on hilly terrain. Precisely adjustable trailing harrows on the rear support wheels eliminate wheel marks and leave loosened weeds on the soil surface to dry out.
