Bulle, Switzerland - LIEBHERR-INTERNATIONAL AG., a heavy machinery manufacturer, has introduced its new 195 HC-LH hydraulic luffing jib crane, targeting high-density urban construction sites where space, lifting flexibility and fast setup are critical.
Designed for confined city jobsites, the 195 HC-LH offers full luffing in under 90 seconds, a minimum working radius of 10 feet and a maximum lifting capacity of 26,455 pounds in single-fall operation. At maximum radius, the crane can lift up to 5,600 pounds.
The crane’s compact counter-jib radius, slim jib profile and 33-foot out-of-service position allow it to work close to buildings and alongside multiple cranes on the same site. Liebherr says these features make the model well suited for structural steel erection, precast concrete placement and high-elevation mechanical equipment installation.
The 195 HC-LH is available with two tower systems: the slim 16 EC 240 for lift shaft installation with internal climbing, and the 21 HC 290 for higher hook heights and compatibility with the EasyUp 200 crane driver elevator. Both systems support climbing inside and outside buildings and can be combined using a transition tower section.
For heavy lifts, the crane includes Liebherr’s Load Plus function, which can increase lifting capacity by 25% when required. It also features the Tower Crane Operating System 2 control interface, enabling operators to customize display settings and manage crane functions more efficiently. The updated LiCAB cab adds an ergonomic layout and improved visibility.
To simplify transport and assembly, the 195 HC-LH’s jib can be preassembled on the ground, including reeving, and lifted in one operation. The hoist jib remains mounted during transport to protect components and reduce setup time, while the slewing platform can be lifted in stages or as a complete unit.
