Liteon Unveils New EV Fast Charger

Taipei, China- Liteon Technology Corporation., and its subsidiary Power Innovations International Inc.,(Pii) have introduced their new Level 3 Electric Vehicle (EV) DC fast charger. Due to their multi-voltage input, these EV chargers are simple to integrate with existing electrical infrastructure, allowing consumers to swiftly install the product without the need for extra infrastructure or installation fees. These can be integrated without degrading the base power purchased into any input voltage configuration found in the US power distribution infrastructure.

The EV charger portfolio has no derating feature across any of the many input configurations and comes with modular and stackable power capabilities. With the help of a US partner, Pii recently erected 30 and 60 kilowatt versions onsite to demonstrate its flexibility in using existing infrastructure from 240 Vac to 480 Vac in the same product without derating. Users may anticipate a quick and easy charging process thanks to Liteon's power electronic knowledge and industry technology.
