Montreal, Canada – LJP Construction, a construction risk management company, has expanded its fleet with the addition of a Liebherr LTR 1150 telescopic crawler crane, enhancing both flexibility and on-site performance.
Mr. Axel COTE, Operations Manager at LJP Construction, said, “When Liebherr launched the LTR 1150, we instantly knew it would be a perfect fit for our fleet. We already operate an LTR 1060 and are very satisfied with it, but the 150-tonne LTR 1150 allows us to handle growing project demands with greater efficiency.”
Premiered in 2023, the LTR 1150 is designed for powerful, flexible performance while maintaining cost-effective transport options. A standout feature for LJP Construction was Liebherr’s VarioBase technology, originally from the LTM series. “VarioBase determines the optimal lifting capacity in real time, based on track width and rotation angle, offering significant benefits for large radii and constrained track widths,” Côté explained.
LJP Construction has maintained a long-standing partnership with Liebherr, having been a customer since 2009. The company’s current fleet includes 21 tower cranes, 12 mobile cranes, a crawler crane, as well as Liebherr concrete pumps, wheel loaders, and telescopic handlers.
With over 400 employees, LJP Construction has built a strong reputation for handling complex and tall formwork projects across the Montreal region. The addition of the LTR 1150 reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering high-performance solutions for demanding construction projects.
