Pieter Klinkers will become the new President and CEO of Iochpe-Maxion on April 16, 2025, succeeding Marcos Oliveira. Mark Gerardts will replace Klinkers as CEO of Maxion Wheels.
Date: March 20, 2025São Paulo, Brazil- Iochpe-Maxion SA., a manufacturer of automotive wheels and structural components in the Americas, announced that Mr. Pieter Klinkers, the current CEO of Maxion Wheels, will assume the role of President and CEO of Iochpe-Maxion SA, effective April 16, 2025. He will succeed Marcos Oliveira, who will step down at the end of his term as part of the company’s senior leadership succession plan.
Pieter Klinkers, with over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, will take over as President and CEO of Iochpe-Maxion SA. After spending 10 years at Michelin, he joined Hayes Lemmerz Inc. in 2005, which was later acquired by Iochpe-Maxion. Since 2015, Klinkers has led the company’s global wheels business.
Mark Gerardts will succeed Klinkers as the new CEO of Maxion Wheels. Currently serving as Business Unit President for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), Gerardts has been with the company since 2015, holding various roles with increasing responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Marcos Oliveira, the outgoing President and CEO, has been nominated by the Board of Directors to join the slate for the Board election at the next ordinary general shareholders’ meeting on April 16, 2025.
The company anticipates a smooth leadership transition, supported by clear communication to ensure continuity and stability in its business operations.
