Lohum India appoints a new CEO

Noida- Lohum Cleantech Private Limited., a manufacturer of lithium-ion battery packs, has appointed Mr. Arun Mittal as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lohum India, a part of Lohum Corporation, effective immediately.

Lohum announced that Mittal brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience in the battery industry. His background includes leading Exide’s lithium-ion technology initiatives for e-mobility applications and expanding the company’s reach across Southeast Asia. As a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), Mittal combines extensive industry knowledge with strong financial and governance expertise.

Mr. Arun Mittal, said, "I am dedicated to advancing Lohum’s vision of promoting material circularity and supporting energy sustainability as we move into our next growth phase. Our mission is to lead the shift toward a more sustainable future by recovering essential minerals and reducing our environmental impact."

The new appointment comes at a pivotal time as Lohum accelerates its mission to become the world's largest producer of sustainable critical materials.
