LONDON, UK – Group Lotus Limited, a manufacturer of sports cars and racing cars, has introduced the Eletre X, a new hybrid version of its Hyper-SUV and the first model developed on the brand’s proprietary X-Hybrid architecture. The vehicle is now available to order in mainland Europe, with prices starting from €96,990 and customer deliveries scheduled to begin in Q4 2026.
The Eletre X expands the Eletre lineup by combining Lotus’ signature dynamic performance, refined driving experience and driver-focused character with improved range, practicality and long-distance capability.
Lotus’ X-Hybrid technology blends battery-electric performance with internal combustion engine support, offering greater flexibility for long journeys while maintaining strong performance and everyday usability. The technology forms an important part of Lotus’ Focus 2030 strategy, supporting the brand’s customer-focused multi-powertrain approach.
Mr. Qingfeng Feng, CEO at Lotus Group, said “Eletre X is proof of how cutting-edge technology can serve the driver, a value which is at the heart of the Lotus brand. We feel that we have created something that not only pushes the boundaries of what is possible from a technical standpoint but, also enriches their emotional and practical driving experience.”
Lotus has introduced the Eletre X with its new X-Hybrid architecture, designed to deliver electric-first performance with extended driving range. The system combines an 11C high-discharge battery, a 150-kW onboard generator and a 2.0-litre turbo engine that helps recharge the battery while driving.
The Eletre X offers a target combined WLTP range of more than 1,200 km, including up to 350 km of electric-only driving. It also supports ultra-fast charging, with 20–80% charging possible in around 9 minutes using a 350 kW DC fast charger.
The SUV delivers strong performance with 952 PS and 935 Nm of torque from dual electric motors. It can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, while advanced battery management helps maintain performance even during long journeys, cold weather and high-speed driving.
Lotus has also equipped the Eletre X with advanced chassis and aerodynamic technologies, including active air suspension, adaptive dampers, active anti-roll control, active aerodynamics and Brembo brakes. These features are designed to give the large SUV sharper handling and a more engaging driving feel.
Inside, the Eletre X features a driver-focused cabin with Lotus Hyper OS, slim digital displays, a head-up display, a 23-speaker KEF audio system and premium materials such as carbon fibre, Alcantara and sustainable Wyron Truecycled fabric.
The Eletre X will be available in mainland Europe in two variants: Eletre X H550 from €96,990 and Eletre X H1000 from €119,990. Orders are open now, with customer deliveries expected from Q4 2026.
