New Delhi - Lotus Cars., a luxury sports cars manufacturer, has launched Emira and Emeya cars in India.
The Lotus Emira, a mid-engined sports car, debuts in India with three variants: Emira Turbo, Turbo SE, and V6. The Turbo SE accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4 seconds, hitting a top speed of 290 km/h, showcasing Lotus' focus on performance and agility.
The Lotus Emira offers two engine options: a 3.5L V6 Toyota engine with 400 hp and up to 430 Nm in the V6 variant, paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic, and a 2.0L AMG-sourced turbocharged engine in the Turbo and Turbo SE variants, delivering 400 hp and 430 Nm. The Turbo SE adds launch control and advanced braking for a dynamic drive.
Lotus Emira offers various customization options, including wheel designs, finishes, audio upgrades, and model branding. The Emira Turbo and V6 come in standard Vivid Red, while the Turbo SE is available in Zinc Grey.
The Lotus Emeya is a fully electric grand tourer (GT) that combines sports car performance, modern luxury, and advanced features. It represents Lotus' vision of evolving into a global all-electric luxury brand.
The Lotus Emeya delivers 675 kW (918 hp), achieving 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and a 610 km WLTP range. With 400-kW DC fast charging, it charges from 10-80% in just 14 minutes. It features five driving modes - Range, Tour, Sport, Individual, and Track, and electronically controlled air suspension for optimal performance and stability.
The Lotus Emeya features advanced safety with 360° obstacle scanning (200m radius) and two NVIDIA DRIVE Orin SoCs processing data from 34 sensors. Inside, it boasts a 15.1-inch HD OLED powered by Lotus HyperOS, a 55-inch head-up display, and a KEF audio system with Uni-Q speakers and Dolby Atmos 3D. It’s available in six colors: Boreal Grey, Fireglow Orange, Solar Yellow, Akoya White, Stellar Black, and Kaimu Grey.
