Magenta Mobility Announces New CEO

Mumbai- Magenta Mobility., a fully integrated commercial EV logistics solutions provider, has announced a strategic leadership realignment to accelerate its growth in cargo electrification.

Under the new structure, Mr. Maxson Lewis, currently CEO and Director, will assume the role of Founder & Chairman, while Mr. Sujit Cherian has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

This transition comes at a pivotal time, as India advances toward its net-zero commitments and rapid electrification of logistics. By reinforcing leadership continuity and enhancing operational focus, Magenta is positioning itself to seize emerging opportunities in EV fleet expansion and clean energy partnerships. The move marks a shift from the company’s foundation-building phase into a period of accelerated growth, strategic collaborations, and broader impact across India’s clean energy ecosystem.

As CEO, Sujit Cherian will spearhead Magenta’s strategic vision, operational excellence, commercial partnerships, and market expansion. Meanwhile, Founder & Chairman Maxson Lewis will concentrate on long-term strategy, technological innovation, and advancing the company’s clean mobility mission through active engagement with industry bodies and government.
