Mumbai- Magenta Ev Solutions Private Limited., (Magenta Mobility) an E-Mobility solution provider, has launched operations in Jaipur, Rajasthan, with plans to deploy 200 electric vehicles (EVs) in the initial phase and scale up to 300 by December 2024. This initiative supports the city’s transition to sustainable transport and aligns with Magenta’s mission to decarbonize India’s logistics industry.

Jaipur is emerging as a key player in India’s EV logistics market, fueled by rising demand for electric fleets. Its strategic location and focus on sustainable transportation position it as an attractive hub for logistics companies. With businesses in e-commerce, FMCG, and pharmaceuticals prioritizing eco-friendly delivery, the city is witnessing a significant shift towards EV adoption, making it an ideal site for Magenta's electric vehicle deployment.

The launch took place in the presence of leaders from the JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation (JITO JIIF) in Jaipur. Magenta will establish a hub-and-spoke depot in the city, featuring 100 electric vehicle (EV) parking spaces and in-house developed 3.3 kW Penta chargers. Additionally, the company plans to hire over 200 local Delivery Executives (DEs) to enhance its operations. Through partnerships with clients like Shadowfax, Dmart, Porter, Garage, and Flipkart, Magenta aims to provide efficient and sustainable mid- and last-mile delivery services across Jaipur.

Mr. Maxson Lewis, Founder and CEO of Magenta Mobility, said, “Our entry into Jaipur marks a significant step in our mission to transform urban logistics through electric mobility. The city's vibrant culture and growing economy provide an ideal setting for our EV fleet initiative. By integrating electric vehicles into Jaipur's logistics framework, we aim to support the city's sustainable development. Jaipur will play a crucial role for Magenta in achieving our growth target of ‘Ab Ki Baar Dus Hazar.’”
