This collaboration has spanned multiple areas of the vehicle, including powertrain and drivetrain systems, ADAS technologies, body and chassis components, electrification, interior systems, vehicle assembly, and more.

Magna has produced over 500,000 iconic off-roaders at its Graz, Austria facility since 1979. In 2024, production of the eDS Duo eDrive system began in Lannach, Austria, powering the all-new electric model with superior traction and efficiency.

The eDS Duo is a 2-speed, dual e-motor drive with up to 240 kW power, offering top-tier traction and off-road performance. Its unique wheel-individual propulsion enables features like the "G-Turn," allowing a 360-degree rotation in place. With advanced silicon carbide and decoupling technology, it ensures high efficiency and outstanding performance.
