Mahindra Group Announces Leadership Reshuffle for Growth
Mahindra has announced key leadership changes to drive growth and innovation across its core divisions, with several top executives transitioning to new roles.

Mumbai - Mahindra & Mahindra Limited., (M&M) a farm equipment manufacturer, has announced significant changes in its leadership structure as part of a broader strategy to drive growth and innovation across its core divisions. Several top executives are set to take on new roles, bringing fresh perspectives to the company's various sectors.
Mr. Hemant Sikka, the current President of the Farm Equipment Sector (FES), will transition to the role of Managing Director & CEO of Mahindra Logistics (MLL), effective May 4, 2025. This strategic move aligns with M&M's focus on strengthening leadership within key business areas, with Sikka bringing his extensive experience in driving operational excellence to MLL.
Mr. Veejay Nakra, who currently serves as the President of the Automotive Division, will take over as President of the Farm Equipment Business (FEB). Nakra, a veteran of M&M since 1995, has played a pivotal role in transforming the automotive sector. In his new role, he will focus on further strengthening the FEB, one of the company's largest and most profitable segments.
Mr. R Velusamy, currently the President of Automotive Technology and Product Development, has been promoted to President of the Automotive Business (AB). Velusamy, who has been with M&M since 1996, will now oversee both the SUV and light commercial vehicle operations, with the aim of increasing agility and collaboration within the business.
Mr. Ram Swaminathan, the current CEO of Mahindra Logistics, has decided to step down to pursue other professional interests. His departure paves the way for Hemant Sikka’s appointment to lead MLL.
