Mahindra Launches BE 6 SPORTEQ with AI-Powered Features and Performance Upgrades

Mumbai - Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, an automotive manufacturing company, has unveiled the BE 6 SPORTEQ, a new evolution of its electric SUV lineup that blends sporty styling with advanced technology and offers customers a broader range of choices. Alongside the SPORTEQ range, Mahindra also introduced the flagship Launch Edition and the performance-oriented Formula E Freedom Edition.

Since its launch in November 2024, the Mahindra BE 6 has gained strong attention for its sporty character, advanced technology and distinctive electric SUV identity. Building on this momentum, Mahindra has introduced the BE 6 SPORTEQ, supported by the new “Pulse Goes Rogue” campaign.

BE 6 SPORTEQ: Design, Technology and Performance

The SPORTEQ range is offered in 12 colours, including four new shades, and eight variants - ONE, TWO, THREE, THREE+, FOUR, FE, FE FOUR and Launch Edition. From the TWO variant onwards, it features a three-screen coast-to-coast digital cockpit, while the Freedom Edition retains the original two-screen race-inspired layout.

The range is powered by MAIA, Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture, which supports six TEQ technology suites. These include TEQ_Talk with Google Gemini-based AI assistance, TEQ_Play for entertainment, TEQ_Drive for performance functions, TEQ_Me for personalised profiles, TEQ_Secure for digital security and car-key features, and TEQ_xting for personalised tailgate messaging.

Mahindra will also roll out selected SPORTEQ software features to eligible existing BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S vehicles through phased OTA updates starting in January 2027.

Launch Edition and Formula E Freedom Edition           

The flagship Launch Edition features an exclusive Graphite Storm exterior and Racing Tan leatherette interior.

The performance-focused Formula E Freedom Edition, inspired by Mahindra Racing, gets sportier styling, tricolour accents, a Black and Firestorm Orange cabin and an Acceleration Boost function capable of accelerating from 0 - 100 km/h in 6.44 seconds.
