Mahindra launches BE 6e and XEV 9e

BE 6e and XEV 9e electric SUVs, featuring with INGLO platform with MAIA AI, these vehicles offer advanced safety, fast charging, and a premium in-cabin experience. Deliveries start in early 2025.

Chennai- Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., has launched its flagship BE 6e and XEV 9e SUVs, built on the revolutionary INGLO platform and powered by the world’s fastest automotive brain, MAIA. These vehicles represent Mahindra’s "Unlimit India" vision—where Indian innovation sets new global benchmarks.

The INGLO Electric Origin Architecture powers the BE 6e and XEV 9e with cutting-edge features, including a certified range of 682 km and 656 km, respectively, thanks to the advanced 79 kWh LFP battery pack. Both models come with a lifetime battery warranty, applicable to private registrations, and feature a 3-in-1 integrated powertrain delivering 210 kW of power. Acceleration is impressive at 0-100 km/h in 6.7 s (BE 6e) and 6.8 s (XEV 9e), with fast charging capabilities offering 20-80% charge in under 20 minutes. The vehicles also boast advanced suspension systems, brake-by-wire technology, and High Power Steering for precision handling.

MAIA, Mahindra’s Artificial Intelligence Architecture, is the most powerful mind in automotive technology. It features a next-gen, software-defined vehicle architecture with 220 k DMIPS and 51 TOPS, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipset. With 24 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and an ultra-fast Adreno GPU, it offers seamless connectivity through Wi-Fi 6.0, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5G. VisionX, an augmented-reality HUD, enhances driving. The Infinity Roof and LightUpMe create a dynamic ambiance, while the Sonic Studio by Harman Kardon with Dolby Atmos delivers exceptional sound. Mahindra has allocated ₹4,500 Crore of its ₹16,000 Crore investment for powertrain development, product top hats, software & tech, and manufacturing capacity in the F22-F27 cycle. The go-to-market strategy for the Electric Origin SUVs will roll out in phases starting January 2025, with deliveries expected by late February or early March 2025.
