      Mahindra & Mahindra releases its sales figures for July 2023

      Mumbai- Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.)., an Indian automotive company, has announced that its overall auto sales for the month of July 2023 stood at 66,124 vehicles, including exports. The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles stood at 20,898 units.

      In Small Commercial Vehicles (SCV), Mahindra recorded sales of 3400 units for July 2023. Comparatively, July 2022 witnessed higher sales with 3693 units. This represents a decline in SCV sales for the company this year.

      Moving on to Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), the numbers indicate a slight growth in sales for July 2023, with a total of 16503 units sold. In July 2022, Mahindra sold 16445 units, showing a modest increase in LCV sales.

      In the Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV) and Multi Axle Heavy Commercial Vehicles (MHCV) segment, Mahindra recorded sales of 995 units for July 2023, marking an improvement compared to the 808 units sold in the same month last year.

      Three-wheelers, an essential part of Mahindra's portfolio, saw a significant surge in sales during July 2023. The company sold 6481 units, demonstrating robust growth compared to the 4351 units sold in July 2022.

      With respect to the cumulative sales a -4% dip in the SCV, a 2% increase in the LCV, 56% growth in M&HCV and 63% increase in the Three wheeler segment.Top of Form

      Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd said, “It has been a record-breaking month for us. We are excited to clock the highest-ever SUV domestic sales of 36,205 in a month. The XUV700 tribe grew to 1 lakh strong, in a record time of 20 months. Also in July, the Scorpio brand achieved the highest sales in a month since its launch. We continue to receive robust demand for our key brands. We will keep a close watch on the availability of semi-conductors and select parts to ensure sustained scaleup.”
