Mumbai - Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business., reported strong tractor sales growth in April 2026, supported by healthy domestic demand and improved export performance.
The company sold 48,411 tractors in April 2026, compared with 40,054 units in April 2025, registering a 21% year-on-year growth.
In the domestic market, Mahindra sold 46,404 tractors, up from 38,516 units in the same month last year. This represents a 20% increase in domestic tractor sales.
Exports also recorded strong momentum during the month. Mahindra exported 2,007 tractors in April 2026, compared with 1,538 units in April 2025, marking a 30% year-on-year growth.
Since April is the first month of FY27, these figures also represent Mahindra’s cumulative tractor sales performance for the financial year so far.
Mr. Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “The company sold 46,404 tractors in the domestic market during April 2026, achieving 20% growth over last year. He added that the performance was strong despite the absence of Chaitra Navratri in April this year, unlike last year when April included seven Navratri days. He also noted that exports grew 30% year-on-year to 2,007 units.”
