Mumbai - Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB), part of the Mahindra Group, reported strong tractor sales growth in March 2026, led by higher domestic demand.
Mahindra sold a total of 45,035 tractors during the month, compared with 34,934 units in March 2025. Domestic tractor sales stood at 43,403 units, up 33% from 32,582 units in the same month last year.
Exports, however, declined during the month. Mahindra shipped 1,632 tractors in March 2026, down from 2,352 units a year earlier, marking a 31% drop.
For the full financial year FY26, total tractor sales reached 526,403 units, compared with 424,641 units in FY25, reflecting a 24% increase. Domestic sales for FY26 rose to 505,930 units from 407,094 units last year, also registering 24% growth. Exports for the year increased 17% to 20,473 units, compared with 17,547 units in FY25.
Mr. Veejay Nakra, said, “The company sold 43,403 tractors in the domestic market in March 2026, achieving robust 33% growth over last year. He added that a significant portion of the growth was supported by the full Navratri season falling entirely in March this year. He also noted that Mahindra closed FY26 with its highest-ever domestic tractor sales of 505,930 units, while exports for March stood at 1,632 units.”
