Mumbai – Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB), a part of the Mahindra Group, reported robust tractor sales in September 2025, driven by strong domestic demand and favorable market conditions.

The company sold a total of 66,111 tractors last month, up from 44,256 units in September 2024, marking a 49% year-on-year growth. Domestic sales accounted for 64,946 units, a remarkable 50% increase compared to 43,201 units sold in the same month last year. Export sales also saw a modest rise, reaching 1,165 units, up from 1,055 units, reflecting a 10% growth.

Year-to-date (April–September 2025), Mahindra sold 2,57,025 tractors, up from 2,14,849 units during the same period last year, a 20% increase. Of this, 2,47,336 tractors were sold in the domestic market, while 9,689 units were exported, up 12% compared to the same period in FY25.

Mr. Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, said, “We have sold 64,946 tractors in the domestic market during September, a growth of 50% over last year. The GST rate cut announced by the Honourable Prime Minister boosted demand in the first nine days of Navratri this September, compared to October last year. This surge has been further supported by a positive Kharif outlook, increased sowing area, and above-normal monsoon.”

The figures underline Mahindra’s continued dominance in the Indian tractor market and reflect strong farmer sentiment amid supportive government policies and favorable weather conditions.
