Mumbai - Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., a tractor manufacturer, reported a 12% year-on-year growth in domestic tractor sales for October 2025, driven by strong festive demand and improving rural sentiment.

The company sold 72,071 tractors in the domestic market, compared to 64,326 units in October 2024. In the export market, Mahindra recorded a robust 41% growth, with 1,589 units sold against 1,127 units last year. Overall, total tractor sales, including domestic and exports, stood at 73,660 units, marking a 13% increase from 65,453 units in the same month of the previous year.

For the April–October 2025 period, Mahindra achieved total tractor sales of 3,30,685 units, an 18% rise over 2,80,302 units sold in the same period last year. Domestic sales grew 18% to 3,19,407 units, while exports increased 16% to 11,278 units, underscoring the company’s strong presence in both domestic and global markets.

Mr. Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “We have sold 72,071 tractors in the domestic market during October, a growth of 12% over last year. The combined festive growth of 27.4% reflects strong market sentiment. A good monsoon and the recent GST rate cut have supported demand. Going forward, timely Rabi sowing and steady Kharif harvesting are expected to sustain the growth momentum.”

With steady sales growth and favorable rural indicators, Mahindra anticipates continued positive momentum in the coming months, supported by healthy agricultural activity and improving rural incomes.
