Mumbai - Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB), part of the Mahindra Group, has reported robust tractor sales for December 2025, reflecting strong demand in both domestic and international markets.
The company sold 30,210 tractors in India, marking a 37% increase over the 22,019 units sold in December 2024. Growth was supported by improved cash flow following a favorable Kharif harvest, conducive weather conditions, healthy reservoir levels, and higher Rabi sowing acreage.
Including exports, total tractor sales reached 31,859 units, up 39% from 22,943 units in December 2024. Export sales alone stood at 1,649 units, a remarkable 78% increase year-on-year.
For the period from April to December 2025, Mahindra sold a total of 4,06,592 tractors, reflecting a 21% rise over 3,36,623 units sold in the same period of FY25. Domestic sales for this period were 3,91,890 units, up 21% from 3,24,327 units, while exports totaled 14,702 units, representing 20% growth from the previous year.
Mr. Nakra, President of Farm Equipment Business, said, "We achieved strong domestic sales of 30,210 tractors in December, driven by improved cash flow after the Kharif harvest, favorable weather, and healthy reservoir levels, which have supported higher Rabi sowing. Export markets also showed impressive growth, with sales rising 78% compared to last year."
This consistent growth underscores Mahindra’s strong market position and positive outlook for FY26.
