Munich, Germany- MAN Charge&Go charging service is now available to all customers, regardless of brand, offering easy access to truck-compatible charging points across Europe. The service simplifies the payment process with a charging card and features the unique MAN eTruck ready standard, ensuring compatibility with battery-electric trucks. Currently, the network includes around 650 locations, with plans to expand to 1,000 eTruck-ready sites by the end of 2025. The MAN Charge&Go card is also accepted at over 15,000 other charging locations across Europe.
The eTruck ready standard helps customers find suitable charging points, with criteria like vehicle maneuverability, height, and weight restrictions. Charging points are categorized into two levels eTruck ready (unrestricted truck charging) and eTruck limited (with restrictions such as vehicle length).
MAN Charge&Go offers a seamless and reliable charging experience, allowing drivers to authenticate via the charging card, with payment processed in the background. The service is designed for mixed fleets, providing a consolidated monthly invoice for all charging costs across different stations. The network leverages Preferred Partners from TRATON Charging Solutions to ensure competitive pricing and provides 24/7 support through MAN Mobile24.
Integrated into MAN’s digital ecosystem, Charge&Go makes planning and charging easier for dispatchers and drivers, with location data accessible via the vehicle or the MAN DriverApp. The Charge&Go Service Portal offers full transparency of charging costs and card usage.
MAN Truck & Bus is committed to driving transport decarbonization and calls for continued political support, emphasizing the need for at least 50,000 public charging points across Europe by 2030 to support the growing shift to electric vehicles.
