West Fargo, N.D. – Manitou Group., an earthmoving equipment manufacturer, has expanded its compact equipment lineup with the launch of five all-new large-frame skid steers and compact track loaders (CTLs), delivering rated operating capacities between 3,250 and 3,600 pounds. With the option of counterweights, operating capacities climb as high as 3,800 pounds, giving the machines the strength to handle larger attachments and demanding jobs.

Designed from the ground up, the new lineup combines higher breakout forces, hydraulic horsepower, and enhanced auxiliary performance in a compact footprint. The vertical-lift models achieve hinge pin heights of up to 136 inches, making them well-suited for truck loading and material placement.

Mr. Nathan Ryan, Global Product Manager of Skid Steers and CTLs, Manitou, said, “The demand for larger skid steers and CTLs continues to grow — and it’s preferred to add that power in the footprint of a compact machine versus upsizing to a larger piece of equipment. We approached this as an opportunity to completely redesign the larger end of our product line to go toe-to-toe with the industry while maintaining a lower total cost of ownership and expanding attachment versatility.”

The new loaders integrate Manitou-exclusive technologies such as the IdealTrax automatic track-tensioning system and IdealAccess foldable door, while introducing new features like a sloped-arm design for improved visibility and better protection of hydraulic lines.

Each machine is built in South Dakota, reflecting over 50 years of U.S. manufacturing expertise, with an emphasis on standardization and premium features. Operators benefit from a redesigned cab that includes an adjustable workstation, 7-inch color display, keyless start with security codes, and connectivity through myManitou and EasyMANAGER platforms for fleet monitoring and service management.

With a focus on durability, serviceability, and lower ownership costs, Manitou’s redesigned skid steers and CTLs are positioned to meet the growing demand for powerful yet versatile compact equipment in construction, rental, and agriculture.
