Saitama, Japan- Marelli Holding Co Ltd., an automotive technology partner, is unveiling its latest lighting solutions at Auto Shanghai 2025 (April 23–May 2, Hall 1.2H, Stand 1BF009) under the theme “Fast Forward. Forward Fast.”

Pixel Rear Lamp – Featuring the world’s first OLED-TFT technology in taillights, this innovation enables high-resolution dynamic displays that enhance safety and support V2X communication, while offering greater design freedom and lower cost than traditional LED solutions.

Near-Field Ground Projection – Compact modules project full-color dynamic visuals (symbols, warnings, vehicle status, even QR codes) around the car for 360° safety and smart interactions. The technology can also be used for welcome lights, entertainment, and personalization.

Thin Lit Line Headlamp – With a sleek 5mm profile, this headlamp redefines design flexibility while integrating key lighting functions like ADB and turn signals. It balances aesthetics with performance.

Both the Near-Field Ground Projection and Thin Lit Line Headlamp are ready for mass production, supported by Marelli’s modular platform and rapid development capabilities.

Mr. Frank Huber, President of Marelli's Lighting business “We are proud to showcase the world's first application of an OLED TFT in exterior lighting with our 'Pixel Rear Lamp,’ at Auto Shanghai, alongside two other outstanding innovations: our 'Near-Field Ground Projection' module and 'Thin Lit Line Headlamp’. These solutions demonstrate our ambition to continue setting trends in the automotive lighting field, aiming to co-create solutions with our customers that enhance and personalize car design and the driving experience, while also increasing safety functions.”

Mr. Kelei Shen, EVP of Marelli, President of Marelli China, said, “As a leader in automotive lighting, Marelli is dedicated to driving industry innovation in China, the world's largest automotive market, and delivering safer, smarter, and more personalized mobility experiences. Our latest technologies showcased at Auto Shanghai highlight our commitment to innovation and set new benchmarks in intelligent interaction and automotive design aesthetics.
