Duluth, Georgia - Massey Ferguson., an agricultural machinery brand of AGCO, has launched its new 2700 and 3700 tractor series at the Konya trade show, underscoring Turkey’s status as a key agricultural growth market in Eurasia and the company’s strong commitment to this region.
Earlier this year, AGCO Corporation and Italy’s SDF Group entered into a partnership agreement for the production and assembly of Massey Ferguson tractors in the low to mid-range horsepower segment.
Following MF specifications, production of these tractor series quickly began at SDF facilities in India and Turkey. The MF 2700 and MF 3700 ranges are manufactured in these two countries depending on the target market. These new series complement Massey Ferguson’s extensive tractor lineup, which ranges from a 20 hp sub-compact model to the flagship 425 hp 9S tractor.
The MF 2700 series include three platform models offering 50, 55, and 65 hp, available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations. The MF 3700 series feature six models ranging from 55 to 75 hp, all with 4WD. To comply with global emission standards, both series are equipped with 3-cylinder Stage V compliant engines.
Transmission options for the MF 2700 series include mechanical 8/2, 12/3, 8/8, and 12/12 speeds, while the MF 3700 series offer mechanical and power shuttle transmissions with 15/15 and 30/30 speeds.
Cab options are available for the 65 and 75 hp models of the MF 3700 series in Turkey. These new tractors are scheduled to launch globally through Massey Ferguson’s network later this year, excluding Europe and India.
With the introduction of the MF 2700 and MF 3700 series, Massey Ferguson ensures customers benefit not only from reliable, high-quality tractors but also from AGCO’s comprehensive parts and service support worldwide.
