Massey Ferguson Launches New MF 1M Series Compact Tractors

Duluth, Georgia - Massey Ferguson., an agricultural machinery brand of AGCO, has launched its all-new MF 1M series compact tractors. This new range includes two premium models — the 20hp MF 1M.20 and the 25hp MF 1M.25, set to replace the outgoing MF 1520 and MF 1525, respectively. Designed with a strong focus on operator comfort, advanced features, and productivity, the MF 1M series brings the latest engineering and styling from the Massey Ferguson lineup into the compact tractor segment.

The MF 1M series features efficient 3-cylinder engines with high torque, with the MF 1M.25 delivering 33% more torque at lower RPM for better fuel efficiency and quieter operation. It comes with a stepless hydrostatic transmission for smooth speed control, while the MF 1M.20 offers a new nine-speed gearbox for greater flexibility. The MF 1M.25 also offers an optional factory-fitted cab with air conditioning, LED work lights, wide visibility, and a hydraulic joystick for easier attachment handling. Both models include adjustable steering wheels to ensure operator comfort during long working hours.

The MF 1M series is built for versatility, with strong implement handling and advanced PTO options. The MF 1M.25 offers a 900kg rear lift capacity (up from 600kg), while the MF 1M.20 maintains 600kg with an optional upgrade. A dedicated steering pump delivers 12.3 L/min, and the main hydraulic pump provides 20.9 L/min for attachments. Up to two spool valves and mid-mounted spools support front loader use. PTO options include a two-speed rear PTO (540/750rpm), a 2,000rpm mid-PTO (standard on MF 1M.25), and three operating modes - Independent, Stationary, and Auto, with customizable engagement settings.

The MF 1M series adds safety and versatility with standard ROPS, a foldable frame on the MF 1M.25, and a rear PTO switch for safer stationary use. Tyre options suit various terrains. New 54- and 60-inch cutter decks offer side or rear discharge and mulching, with a drive-over design and easy height adjustment for quick setup.
