DULUTH, Georgia - Massey Ferguson., a division of AGCO Corporation and an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has launched the SB.1436DB small square baler, capable of producing two rows of 14-by-18-inch bales per pass, doubling the output of traditional single balers. This innovative baler offers enhanced field performance, consistent bale quality, and exceptional uptime, helping commercial hay producers overcome modern challenges.

Mr. Dane Mosel, Marketing Manager at Massey Ferguson, said, "The SB.1436DB is built to meet the needs of modern hay producers who face increasing pressure from labor shortages, tight harvest windows and demanding quality standards. With its heavy-duty design and groundbreaking technology, this baler helps operators achieve better efficiency and superior results, reducing costs for increased profitability."

The SB.1436DB maximizes productivity and minimizes costs by producing two rows of bales per pass, reducing labor, equipment, and fuel expenses. Its 105-inch pickup width ensures high throughput, while operating at 90 strokes per minute with a 21.9-inch stroke length for efficient performance. The SimplEbale system automates bale density, weight, and dimensions, ensuring consistent results and eliminating manual errors.

The SB.1436DB produces dense, well-formed 14-by-18-inch bales with consistent density, shape, and size, enhancing hay marketability. Independent knotter trips ensure precise bale lengths (24-52 inches) despite windrow variability, while completed bales are dropped into separate rows for easy handling and transport.

The SB.1436DB maximizes field time with twine storage for 20 balls, producing up to 8,000 bales before refilling twice the capacity of similar balers. Automated knotter lubrication reduces manual maintenance, while its durable design and easy access to key components ensure reliability under tough conditions.
