McCormick Introduces New Hyper Safety View

Fabbrico, Italy - Argo Tractors S.p.A., (McCormick), a tractors manufacturer, has launched the new Hyper Safety View, an advanced collision warning system designed to enhance tractor safety. Using computer vision, artificial intelligence, and a robust hardware architecture, the system detects the presence of people and prevents collisions through audio-visual alerts.

McCormick's Hyper Safety View prioritizes operator safety and the safety of anyone within the tractor's field of vision, with a focus on human factors in both comfort and safety.

The system includes a central processing unit with specialized software, four cameras for a 360° view (three on the roof and one on the front of the bonnet), and an Ethernet connection to the tractor’s DSM Plus monitor for displaying information. Once the Hyper Safety View function is activated on the cab’s main monitor (Data Screen Manager), a menu with five operations appears: Polar View (radar for obstacle distance), Surround (360° view from multiple cameras), AR (vehicle trajectory overlay on real image), Cameras (zoom-enhanced camera views), and ADAS (assistance for connecting implements).

The Hyper Safety View system, using AI and augmented reality, enhances tractor safety by providing a computerized view of the surroundings, preventing collisions with audible warnings and alerts. It aids in blind spot visibility and supports implement docking via AR-based ADAS. Installed on the McCormick X7.624 VT-Drive, it integrates with the Clever Cab’s infotainment and control systems.
