Achterveld, Netherlands - Mechan International., a part of the Zweegers Equipment Group, has acquired a majority stake in Agri Ravagnolo Srl., further reinforcing its footprint in the Italian agricultural machinery market. Agri Ravagnolo is a well-established dealer of AGCO brands Fendt, Massey Ferguson and PTx.

Agri Ravagnolo offers a comprehensive portfolio of Fendt and Massey Ferguson tractors and implements, backed by a strong after-sales and service organization. The company is particularly specialized in viticulture, precision farming solutions, and PTx Trimble technologies. Its business is further strengthened by spare parts distribution, on-site and in-house technical support, and financing solutions through AGCO Finance.

Despite the acquisition, continuity remains a key priority. The company will continue to be managed by the existing family and leadership team, with day-to-day operations unchanged. All employees will remain with the organization, ensuring stability in service quality, technical expertise, and long-standing customer relationships.

Mr. Eros Ravagnolo, CEO of Agri Ravagnolo Srl., said, “For our customers and employees, Agri Ravagnolo will remain the trusted partner they know. This partnership allows us to further invest in service, innovation, and modern agricultural solutions while preserving our local commitment and family values.”

With the addition of Agri Ravagnolo, Mechan International now forms a cohesive AGCO dealer network in northern Italy, together with Agri-Verde and Busato. The combined network is expected to generate a turnover exceeding €100 million in 2025. By serving adjacent regions, the partners aim to share best practices, specialist expertise, and operational efficiencies—enhancing service quality across the region.
