Stuttgart, Germany - Mercedes-Benz AG, an automotive manufacturer responsible for the production of luxury cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles, has launched the new GT 4-Door Coupé, now available to order through dealerships and online. The model delivers extreme performance, strong sustained power, precise driving dynamics and a thrilling AMG driving experience. At launch, customers can choose between two variants: the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4-Door Coupé and the Mercedes-AMG GT 55 4-Door Coupé.

At launch, customers can choose between two performance-focused variants: the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4-Door Coupé and the Mercedes-AMG GT 55 4-Door Coupé.

For the first time in a fully electric production vehicle, the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé uses advanced axial-flux electric motors. The vehicle is equipped with three highly innovative electric motors, with two positioned on the rear axle and one on the front axle. Together, they generate a system output of up to 860 kW.

This powerful drivetrain is supported by a high-performance battery system engineered to deliver strong, repeatable power, fast energy intake and high power density. The result is a performance EV that combines speed, endurance and efficiency.

The performance figures underline its AMG character. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.1 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in only 6.4 seconds. With the AMG Driver’s Package, the top speed increases to 300 km/h.

Charging performance is another major highlight. With a charging capacity of up to 600 kW, the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé can add more than 460 km of range in just 10 minutes. A typical 10% to 80% charging cycle takes only 11 minutes.

Mercedes-AMG has also focused on preserving the emotional appeal of performance driving. In the AMGFORCE S+ driving mode, the car delivers an authentic AMG V8-inspired sound experience, supported by haptic feedback and simulated gearshift characteristics. A dedicated driver display with a central tube-style design further enhances the feel of a high-performance AMG sports car.

For enthusiastic drivers, the AMG RACE ENGINEER system allows precise adjustment of the car’s dynamic behaviour. By linking hardware and software intelligently, the system helps fine-tune responsiveness, traction and cornering performance to suit the driver’s preferred style.

The four-door coupé also features active aerodynamic technologies that adapt to different driving situations. Depending on configuration, the vehicle can be equipped with active AEROKINETICS venturi plates in the underbody or an active AEROKINETICS rear diffuser, improving either performance stability or efficiency.

The AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension further enhances the balance between comfort and sportiness. It reduces body roll, compensates for uneven road surfaces and supports precise cornering. Standard 6-degree rear-axle steering improves both agility and high-speed stability.

Mercedes-AMG is also offering a wide range of optional packages and customization features. These include the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package, AMG Driver’s Package, AEROKINETICS Venturi Flow, AMG Aerodynamics Package Plus, AMG Performance Seat Packages, AMG Performance Charging Package, exterior lighting package, SKY CONTROL panoramic roof, lightweight carbon-design roof, Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, AMG Night Packages and AMG carbon-fibre interior trim.

Overall, the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé represents a major step in AMG’s electric performance strategy, combining extreme acceleration, rapid charging, advanced aerodynamics, high-end comfort and the emotional driving character expected from an AMG model.
