Leinfelden-Echterdingen/Berlin, Germay- Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Center Berlin-Brandenburg, led by Mr. René Rudelt, recently handed over two Mercedes-Benz Arocs trucks to Autobahn GmbH. Ms., Michaela Kuban, Head of Fleet Management and Insurance at Autobahn GmbH, accepted the vehicles during the symbolic handover.
So far, 51 three-axle Arocs trucks have been delivered to highway maintenance offices across Germany. By the end of the year, an additional 58 four-axle Arocs trucks are set to follow, further strengthening the fleet for road maintenance operations.
Mr. René Rudelt, said, "We are very proud to have won the tender for a total of 109 trucks in the last tender from the Autobahn GmbH. With our vehicles, we help ensure year-round operations and safety on Germany’s highways."
All Mercedes-Benz Arocs trucks delivered so far are equipped with winter service bodies from Paul Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH. Thanks to an innovative roll-off concept, the vehicles can be quickly adapted with different body types, making them versatile for year-round use.
Built for maximum durability, the Arocs combines robust design with smart functionality, delivering both efficiency and safety. A variety of equipment options and intelligent assistance systems enhance the truck’s versatility.
One standout feature is the Hydraulic Auxiliary Drive (HAD)—a hydraulic front-wheel drive system ideal for occasional off-road conditions, providing extra traction when needed.
