Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany - Daimler Truck AG, a commercial vehicle manufacturer, and Girteka group have signed an agreement for 500 Actros L ProCabin trucks, with deliveries scheduled in phases throughout 2026. The order supports Girteka’s fleet renewal and the expansion of its long-haul operations across Europe, reinforcing the company’s modernization drive.
Mr. Pavel Kveten, CEO of Girteka Logistics, said “The company is investing with a long-term focus to strengthen fleet reliability. He noted that the Actros L ProCabin matches Girteka’s requirements for international long-haul transport, improving efficiency, safety and driver comfort, while supporting the company’s temperature-controlled and high-care cargo operations with its own fleet across Europe.”
The Actros L ProCabin adopts an upgraded cab built to improve airflow. An 80 mm longer front section, smoother transitions and aerodynamically contoured panels help cut drag, supporting better efficiency in long-haul operations.
The trucks feature the latest Active Brake Assist, which fuses radar and camera inputs to identify moving, stationary or crossing vehicles and can automatically brake to a standstill within system limits. Active Sideguard Assist 2 monitors both sides of the vehicle and alerts the driver to lateral hazards; during turns at speeds up to 20 km/h, it can apply braking on the passenger side if warnings are ignored. Predictive Powertrain Control also leverages topographic and route data to enable more anticipatory, fuel-efficient driving.
Each vehicle comes with the MultiMedia Cockpit Interactive2, combining a high-resolution 12-inch instrument cluster with an improved touchscreen for easier control of key functions. Many settings can also be managed through voice commands.
The agreement comes in Girteka’s 30th anniversary year. Over three decades, Girteka has evolved from a local carrier into one of Europe’s leading road transport companies, focused on full truckload services. Operating with its own fleet and drivers, the company emphasizes strong control over service quality and daily execution, supported by ongoing investment in people, technology and fleet modernization.
