Houma, Louisiana – Merlo America., a construction equipment manufacturer, has appointed Piranha Rentals as an authorized dealer for South Louisiana, expanding access to Merlo telehandlers, attachments, parts and service support across the region.
Headquartered in Houma, Piranha Rentals serves customers through facilities covering Venice, Fourchon and Plaquemine. The family-owned rental company supports offshore oil and gas, petrochemical, construction, pipeline, homebuilding and industrial markets.
Founded in 2008, Piranha Rentals has built its business around dependable equipment, fast response and 24/7 customer support. As an authorized Merlo dealer, the company will now provide sales, rentals, parts and service for Merlo equipment across its Louisiana locations.
Piranha Rentals currently operates 36 Merlo telehandlers in its fleet, serving oilfield, industrial, construction and pipeline applications. The company said Merlo machines are valued for their versatility, safety features, operator visibility and ability to work with different attachments such as winches and grapple buckets.
