Linkoping, Sweden - Ivarssons i Metsjo AB., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has launched a new three-axle hooklift trailer with a low build height of just 90 cm, enabling the legal transport of taller containers while maintaining stability, ground clearance, and safety. The trailer is designed to handle containers measuring 6 to 8 meters.

It is equipped with 455/40 22.5 tyres, has a total length of 9.1 meters, and a low unladen weight of 5,800 kg, supporting higher payload capacity while reducing ground pressure and fuel consumption.

The trailer features three axles with an axle spacing of cc 1,810 mm. The front and rear axles are automatically steered via the HYDAC Adsteer system, improving maneuverability and enabling a compact turning radius without requiring a physical connection to the towing vehicle.

Hydraulic suspension with standard level control ensures stability during transport and container handling. The trailer also includes a hydraulically extendable rear underrun protection system with integrated lighting, meeting EU type approval 167/2013 requirements for both 40 km/h and 60 km/h operation.

A hydraulically suspended adjustable drawbar and telescopic tower allow the vertical load on the towing vehicle to be adjusted for optimal weight distribution. The trailer delivers a tipping and hooklifting force of over 30 tonnes when handling 8-meter containers at 210 bar and can be operated via ISOBUS or radio control.
