Helsinki, Finland - Metsjo AB., an agricultural trailers manufacturer, has introduced the new MetaQ51 dumper trailer for tractors, designed to combine high payload capacity, low tare weight, hydraulic suspension, and improved driving comfort for agricultural and contracting operations.
The new trailer is based on a further developed design that will also be applied to more models in Metsjö’s dumper trailer range. According to CEO Anders Ivarsson, the MetaQ51 was developed to meet growing customer demands for greater stability, durability, and transport efficiency.
The MetaQ51 features a newly designed body for smoother material discharge, improved durability, and easier loading. It also includes a height-adjustable chassis that lowers the center of gravity for better stability during loading and transport. Metsjö said its hydraulic suspension system, combined with laser-aligned axles, improves weight distribution, ride comfort, and fuel efficiency compared with simpler suspension systems.
The trailer is also designed for flexibility, allowing users to switch between different body types for applications such as grass, bales, grain, and machinery transport.
The MetaQ51 offers a volume of 10.2 m³, a tare weight of 3,850 kg, and a payload capacity of 16,150 kg. It is built using Hardox 450 steel, with an 8 mm floor plate and 6 mm side and front plates. The trailer measures 6.9 m in length, has an internal width of 2.39 m, uses Metsjö’s hydraulic MetaQ suspension technology, and features a chassis height adjustment of up to 35 cm.
