Espoo, Finland - Metso Oyj., a crushing and screening equipment manufacturer, has expanded the exclusive distribution territory of its partner Nors Group, S.A., in Western Canada, strengthening its market presence across the region. Previously covering British Columbia and Yukon, Nors will now also represent Metso in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories.

The move is expected to improve customer access to Metso’s crushing and screening equipment, along with spare and wear parts and related services. With a broader regional footprint, Nors will be able to offer stronger local support, better parts availability, and faster service response for customers across Western Canada.

Nors has been a long-standing Metso distribution partner, providing equipment sales and aftermarket support. The expanded territory builds on the established relationship between the two companies, which is centered on close collaboration, shared values, and customer-focused service.

Mr. Steve Cianci, Vice President, Americas Distribution Management at Metso, said, “The expansion supports the company’s strategy of strengthening its aggregates distribution network and delivering reliable equipment and aftermarket support. The deeper partnership with Nors will help enhance customer experience and support sustainable growth in Western Canada.”

Mr. Sudhanshu Singh, CEO of Nors Construction Equipment Canada, said, “The wider representation highlights the strength of the partnership with Metso and their shared commitment to customer service. The expansion also aligns with Nors’ long-term growth plans while ensuring continuity and high-quality aftersales support across the region.”

The expanded agreement marks another step in Metso’s efforts to reinforce its distribution and service capabilities in key markets, while giving customers in Western Canada improved access to products and support.
