      MG Motor India collaborated with Vertelo to supply 3,000 EVs

      New Delhi-MG Motor has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vertelo, an integrated fleet electrification platform managed by Macquarie and funded by the Green Climate Fund. Under this partnership, MG will deliver of 3,000 electric vehicles to Vertelo.

      Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer, MG India, said, “This partnership between MG India and Vertelo demonstrates a shared vision for a green and sustainable future with decarbonisation in India.”

      Sandeep Gambhir, Chief Executive Officer, Vertelo noted that the partnership marks the "This partnership with MG Motor India to purchase around 3,000 electric cars, marks the beginning of a journey for both organisations with a common goal of accelerating fleet electrification and achieving Net-zero emissions.”

      MG India has emerged as a key player in the development of a robust EV charging infrastructure. Teaming up with Exicorn Telesysterns, ElectreeFi, EchargerBays, Ionage, Statiq, Epsilon, and Highway Delite, MG has successfully deployed 7.4kW chargers across about 50 major cities. With an average installation rate of one charger per day, this initiative underscores MG's commitment to promoting widespread adoption of electric vehicles.
