Mumbai/Thane/Raigad - Mahanagar Gas Ltd., a natural gas distribution company, collaborated with Nawgati., a fuel aggregator platform, to encourage CNG adoption among commercial fleet operators in Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad. As part of MGL's CNG Mahotsav 2.0, the initiative offers incentives for purchasing new CNG vehicles or retrofitting existing ones.
Nawgati will manage the fleet program with a digital platform for refueling payments and fleet management, promoting the transition from petrol and diesel to cleaner CNG.MGL's CNG Mahotsav 2.0 offers incentives based on vehicle type and tonnage, encouraging fleet operators to switch to CNG. Nawgati’s digital platform simplifies refueling and payment management for operators.
Fleet operators can register on the MGL Fleet Platform to manage vehicles, drivers, and refueling at MGL CNG stations. The platform offers a centralized hub for fleet management, with a dual payment solution through the MGL Fuel Card, usable physically or digitally via the MGL Connect or Nawgati Fuelling app, at participating stations and select BEST bus depots.
